Jihwan Woo studies how rebalancing by leveraged products can spill into related assets. The proposed monitor treats the products and their underlying markets as a connected system, rather than assessing each fund in isolation.

The paper’s most useful result is also its boundary: it finds a transmission pattern in a Korean episode but does not find the same pattern in the tested U.S. complex.
